A fan of the comic book character THE FLASH, I have posted on the internet in the past under the pseudonym “Heatwave the Rogue.”  In 2003, I began a quiet internet campaign to return Barry Allen the Silver Age Flash to comic book continuity.  Along with my faithful friends of message board posting, most of them a part of a whimsical group called B.A.S.H. (that I helped form), we set out to set the internet on fire, or more realistically, light a small match and get DC’s attention.  In 2009, DC returned Barry Allen to his iconic status as THE FLASH, reversing a 23 year absence from comic book continuity.  I like to think that we might have helped this to happen in some small way with our dedicated, intelligent, and good-natured postings.

In the real world:  I work as a writer/producer for a local television network.  I have won several local Emmys for broadcasting excellence.  I’m married with 2 children and have one Siberian Husky dog named Tundra.  My beloved dog Max passed away in October of 2009 after 15 loving years with our family.  Both of my kids play ice hockey.
